Campus Coordinator-Evenings
About the role
The Home for Little Wanderers' Walpole Campus seeks a full-time evening Campus Coordinator to supervise Residential Counselors, Supervisors, and the Activity Coordinator. Key responsibilities include supervising staff, planning therapeutic groups, supporting behavior interventions, and managing daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Program Directors and Milieu Directors to ensure appropriate campus staffing coverage.
- Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate direct care staff.
- Mediate staff issues and employee conflicts.
- Host team meetings, provide training, and conduct weekly supervision.
- Plan and schedule therapeutic groups and social activities.
- Support individual cabin supervisors in managing activities and client belongings.
- Provide behavior support and intervention, including appropriate physical restraints.
- Ensure completion of shift paperwork and oversee record submissions.
- Support Residential Supervisors in managing client belongings and routines.
- Plan and schedule weekly circles for youth growth and development.
- Cover shifts as needed and manage medical and emergency situations.
Qualifications
- Equivalent to two years of college and/or two plus years childcare experience in a residential setting with similar population.
- Supervisory experience helpful.
- Computer literate with Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer, able to learn new software applications.
