About the role

As part of a mission-centric, locally delivered, and nationally powered organization, this role is responsible for logistics, data management, and coordination for Blood Cancer United designated market and peer-to-peer fundraising products to exceed revenue goals for the Blood Cancer United mission within a designated market area.

Temporary Position – 3-month assignment. Staffed through TCWGlobal.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Education Services and Health Research departments to effectively communicate the Blood Cancer United overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.
  • Act as an on-site manager during campaign fundraising events, overseeing activities, staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure participant satisfaction and problem resolution.
  • Oversee logistics, timelines, and other operational elements for assigned fundraising campaigns.
  • Provide input into the development of a strategic plan for peer-to-peer fundraising products, including revenue, budget, goals, and timelines.
  • Manage expense budgets related to logistics.
  • Research and recommend event venues and location sites based on campaign standards and in coordination with National Shared Services and the Logistics Team.
  • Responsible for assigned peer-to-peer fundraising teams to achieve overall revenue goals, working in conjunction with the Volunteer Coordinator and collaborating with local relationship teams and national shared service partners.
  • Manage data entry to ensure CRM and fundraising systems are accurate and updated in a timely manner. Provide reports to the fundraising relationship team as needed.
  • Connect with vendors to secure the best rates or in-kind donations of services as needed.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of the Blood Cancer United mission and programs to promote organizational initiatives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 1-3 years of experience.
  • Collaborate with the Mission Team to ensure success in patient access, education, public policy, advocacy, and research.
  • Able to supervise groups of volunteers.
  • Capable of managing multiple priorities effectively.
  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and use of digital, social media, and emerging online channels.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized.
  • Knowledge of MS Office Suite.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

  • Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations.
  • May be required to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds for various events.
  • Travel within the designated area.
  • Required to work some evenings or weekends.
