Campaign Fundraising Director - Light the Night - St. Louis
Summary:
As part of a mission-centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization, this role is accountable for leading multiple staff teams and building & maintaining strong relationships with constituents while implementing innovative peer-to-peer fundraising products to exceed revenue goals for Blood Cancer United's mission, within a designated market area.
Mission Integration
- Partner with Education Services and Health Research departments to effectively communicate Blood Cancer United's overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.
- Organize mission-centered, local donor cultivation events and prospect high-impact donors for national stewardship activities.
Staff Leadership & Development
- Create and implement an innovative strategic plan annually and revise periodically to ensure team exceeds all revenue goals.
- Teach, train, and consult fundraising staff in designated market area.
- Hire, manage, develop, and train peer to peer fundraising teams.
Volunteer Leadership & Development
- Collaborate to grow volunteer and corporate relationships across the market and throughout Blood Cancer United.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer committees.
- Train, consult volunteer leaders in designated market area.
- Recruit and cultivate high-level volunteer leadership.
- Provide comprehensive volunteer support to ensure positive volunteer interactions.
Innovation in High-Impact Fundraising
- Accountable for achieving high-impact peer-to-peer fundraising revenue goals.
- Maintain a working knowledge of Blood Cancer United's mission and programs to promote organizational initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 7-8 years of relatable experience
