Campaign Development Specialist - TEMPORARY - West Palm Beach

About the role

Blood Cancer United is a mission‑centric, locally delivered and nationally powered organization relentlessly pursuing cancer cures. This temporary 6‑month position, staffed through TCWGlobal, supports logistics, data management and coordination for designated market and peer‑to‑peer fundraising products to exceed revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Education, Services and Health Research to communicate the overall mission, programs, resources, and priorities.
• Act as an on‑site manager during campaign fundraising events, overseeing activities, staff, vendors, and volunteers to ensure participant satisfaction and resolve problems.
• Oversee logistics, timelines, and other operational elements for assigned fundraising campaigns.
• Provide input into the development of a strategic plan for peer‑to‑peer fundraising products, including revenue, budget, goals, and timelines.
• Manage expense budgets related to logistics.
• Research and recommend event venues and locations based on campaign standards, in coordination with National Shared Services and the Logistics Team.
• Support assigned peer‑to‑peer fundraising teams to achieve overall revenue goals, working with the Volunteer Coordinator and local/national relationship teams.
• Manage data entry to keep CRM and fundraising systems accurate; update systems timely and provide reports to the fundraising relationship team as needed.
• Connect with vendors to secure the best rates or in‑kind donations of services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 0–2 years’ experience in a related role.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of MS Office Suite.
• Use of digital and social media.
• Collaboration skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to supervise and lead a group of volunteers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines effectively.

Work Environment

Physical demands are minimal and typical of similar jobs in comparable organizations. Work environment is representative of similar jobs. May be required to move campaign materials weighing up to 15 pounds for various events. Travel within the designated area.
