About the role
The role involves supporting the overnight camp programs at Camp Mary Atkinson and potentially other camps within the Girl Scouts North Carolina Coastal Pines council. The position includes overnight in-cabin supervision of minor female campers as an essential function.

Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the US
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to obtain or become certified in First Aid/CPR
- Ability to interact with all age levels
- Prior camp experience or working with youth preferred
Qualifications
- Understanding of youth development and the ability to relate positively to youth and adults
- Program coordination skills and commitment to the Girl Scout mission
- Willingness to live and work in a camp setting, including working nontraditional hours

Schedule
The position runs from July 5 through the end of July, 2026.
Pay
The compensation is a weekly salary of $470.00, including housing and meals after training. There is also an opportunity for a $250 completion bonus if the staff remains employed through the end of summer camp.
