Camp Head Coach (Boy's Soccer)
Duties/Responsibilities
- On-Field Coaching: organizing and running training sessions specific to skill level and age, creating positive atmosphere around soccer within their group, providing information and encouragement of ways to improve (50%)
- Chaperone: walking kids to and from dorm to dining hall, fields, taking attendance, making sure entire group is in the appropriate place at the appropriate time (35%)
- Field Manager: organizing on field activities, substitutions, setup of events (15%)
Minimum Qualifications
- Multiple years of on-field coaching experience
- Above average soccer knowledge
- Knowledge of how to put together proper training sessions
- Ability to create a group environment
Pay
Pay Range: $1,600-1,800 (salary amount)
About the Role
The Head Coach position with our overnight camp will be in charge of a group of 15+ campers directing them on daily training sessions, small and large sided matches, helping them maneuver campus, and creating a culture of positivity within our 5-day camp environment. They will manage an assistant coach within their group to help facilitate information to their campers as well. This person is key to camp success and allows for delegation from the camp director.
