Camp Ann Counselor

Description Of Duties/Essential Functions

UNDER DIRECTION, PROMOTES AND MARKETS LOTTERY ACTIVITIES AND ACQUIRES NEW LOTTERY RETAILERS WITHIN AN ASSIGNED GEOGRAPHICAL AREA;
DELIVERS PROMOTIONAL MATERIAL TO SALES RETAILERS;
PROCESSES INSTANT TICKET RETURN AND MAINTAINS LOTTERY RETAILERS’ INSTANT GAME INVENTORY;
ASSISTS PROMOTIONS UNIT IN FESTIVALS, FAIRS AND MALL PROMOTIONAL EVENTS;
Maintains a variety of records and compiles and prepares reports;
COORDINATES NEW EQUIPMENT INSTALLATIONS WITH ON-LINE VENDOR STAFF;
ATTENDS AND PARTICIPATES IN SALES MEETINGS.

Minimum Requirements

• Requires knowledge, skill and abilities equivalent to completion of four years college, or equivalent, with courses in marketing, public relations or business administration;
• Requires two years progressively responsible experience in marketing, sales or a promotional field;
• Requires extensive knowledge of sales and marketing principles, practices and techniques;
• Requires ability to independently complete ongoing assignments and to meet deadlines within rigid time frames;
• Requires ability to apply and interpret the lottery law, rules and regulations, and agency policies as they affect day-to-day operations;
• Requires a valid driver’s license and willingness to commute to an assigned area and work an assigned route of retailers.

• HOURS: 8:30 A.M. TO 5:00 P.M.
