About the role

We are looking for a Camera System / IT Support Technician to install and maintain sophisticated security and access systems, troubleshoot network issues, and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Installation of sophisticated systems including Brivo, ExacqVision, AiPhone, & Honeywell
• Develop and maintain B-Tech Fire & Security access/intrusion systems and field devices
• Responsible for wiring termination and system programming
• Maintain vendor/contractor relationships and ensure the quality of service provided
• Demonstrate a good understanding of LAN and WAN, network switches, IP address schemes, and troubleshooting skills to diagnose network communication issues
• Read, understand, and analyze architectural blueprints and electrical schematics
• Perform advanced support functions
• Communicate in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service
• Work on other technical systems or projects as needed, such as fire/life safety systems, CCTV, and intercom systems

Requirements

• Minimum of high school diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record
• Favorable background check required

Physical Demands

• Finger/wrist dexterity and hand/eye coordination
• Ability to work on a ladder
• Ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and drive a vehicle
• Safely and effectively use general hand and power tools
• Effectively use a cell phone and cell phone app for work order processing
