About the role

Kasa Kasa is seeking a motivated Housekeeper to join our Operations Portfolio team in Los Angeles, CA. This position is full-time, approximately 32-40 hours per week, with flexible weekend and holiday hours.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for cleaning guest rooms and common areas, providing exceptional service to guests while building relationships that motivate them to return.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks, dusting, waxing, mopping, polishing, and providing room service following hotel protocols.
• Replace linens, restock room supplies, and empty trash while organizing furniture, curtains, and room decor.
• Provide required amenities as listed in the room legend, maintain room uniform according to Manager and Housekeeping Supervisor instructions, ensuring closed doors and locked rooms.
• Report immediately any damage, hazards, repair needs, or unauthorized individuals observed in designated areas.
• Turn in any items found in guest rooms, hallways, or hotel areas to the Lost and Found Housekeeping department, noting date, location, description, and finder's name.
• Ensure cleanliness in hallways and service areas, promptly attending to tasks or instructions assigned by Housekeeping Management.
• Replenish and organize cart at end of shift, preparing bedclothes closet for next day's operations.
• Alert shift supervisor or manager about any unusual circumstances, such as abandoned luggage in a long-stay room, guests without service needs, people sleeping outside their room, or smoking in rooms, promptly and accurately.

Requirements

• Motivated team player with a desire to achieve results.
• Effective problem solver in the workplace, including identifying issues in the hotel and reporting them to the Housekeeping Manager.
• Flexible and adaptable when necessary.
• Available and accessible to all guests while providing excellent customer service.
• Comfortable lifting objects up to 25-50 pounds and walking/carrying up to 8 hours a day.

Qualifications

• One to two years of Housekeeping experience preferred.

Skills

• Proficiency in Kasa's task management software, Breezeway.
• Ability to provide honest and courageous feedback about our systems and how we work.

Pay

The initial base salary for this position is $25.00 per hour, and it is set based on various factors including business needs, market demand, talent availability, experience, and unique attributes. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This position is also eligible for stock participation, bonuses, additional benefits, and Credit for Travel at Kasa.

Schedule

Apart from the flexibility in weekend and holiday hours, the schedule is approximately 32-40 hours per week.
