About the role
Q2IMPACT is building a pipeline of highly qualified, mission-driven professionals to support current and anticipated U.S. Department of War (DoW) security cooperation and institutional support efforts. We welcome experienced professionals at all levels to submit their CVs for consideration. These opportunities support DoW programs and initiatives focused on security cooperation, defense institution building, partner-nation capacity building, and interagency coordination. Applicants holding a Secret Security Clearance are strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design, implementation, and monitoring of security cooperation programs and initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop strategic partnerships and enhance security cooperation.
- Support the development and execution of policy, strategy, and advisory services.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance in areas such as advanced analytics, digital platforms, and AI.
- Lead monitoring, evaluation, and learning activities to inform evidence-based decision-making.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful program delivery.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners to foster long-term engagement.
- Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and security clearances.
Requirements
- Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., security studies, international relations, computer science).
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in security cooperation, defense institution building, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of data analysis, digital transformation, and AI technologies.
- Experience in managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Clear or eligible for a Secret Security Clearance.
