About the Role

Conduent provides mission-critical services and solutions to Fortune 100 companies and over 500 governments. As a Call Center Representative – Medicaid Member Support (Bilingual English/Spanish), you will support Medicaid members in South Carolina as a first point of contact, answering calls, providing product information, and resolving customer inquiries with empathy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Using a computerized system, responds to South Carolina Medicaid member inquiries in a call center environment using standard scripts and procedures
  • Gathers information, assesses caller needs, researches and resolves inquiries, and documents calls
  • Provides clear and concise information regarding member eligibility
  • Assists callers with completing their Medicaid applications and provides updates on their application status
  • Follows documented policies and procedures including call handling and escalations
  • Acts as an advocate for Medicaid members to ensure their needs are met
  • Navigates across multiple computer screens while accessing and reviewing information from various applications

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED
  • Must be able to submit to a pre-employment screening
  • Must pass the Call Center – Service Skills Assessment and Internet Speed test
  • A minimum of 1-year call center experience in telephone customer service or related experience
  • Computer literacy and ability to use multiple programs
  • Must reside within a 60 mile radius of Columbia, SC (position is remote but location-restricted)
  • Bilingual English/Spanish required

  • One year of medical insurance or medical office experience
  • Call center or professional office experience
  • Computer system experience with data entry and database documentation knowledge

Schedule

  • Training is 4 weeks (8:30 am – 5:00 pm EST)
  • After training: 8-hour shift within hours of operation
  • Full-time schedule (40 hrs. per week)
  • No weekends
