The Communication Specialist plays a crucial role in the Answering Service Center, providing services to multiple hospitals, clinics, and physician groups throughout Western Montana.
Responsibilities
- Answering calls from patients, visitors, and healthcare professionals
- Transferring calls to appropriate departments or personnel
- Providing general information and directing inquiries
- Handling emergencies and urgent situations as needed
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in an office or health-care setting
- Prior employment as an operator preferred
Qualifications
Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent. No specific certifications are required.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay
The starting salary range for this position is $16.50 to $24.36 per hour. Additional compensation may be available based on experience and performance.
Schedule
The Communication Specialist works variable hours, typically Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturday from 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
