Position Responsibilities
- Ensure proper training is provided as per Call Center operations requirements.
- Review and approve training requests based on needs for effective Call Center operations.
- Develop, execute, and track training opportunities as needed.
- Oversee and manage employee conduct within the Call Center operations.
- Manage the hiring processes and procedures for all new employees.
- Generate monthly progress reports and provide status updates on performance measures.
- Review and approve reports for personnel time and attendance.
- Oversee and manage the Dispatcher Shift Bid process.
- Optimize dispatch program performance through recommendations and procedures.
- Recommend equipment needs and replacement.
- Manage the collection of statistics for the Call Center.
- Conduct special projects such as NCIC issues, hit confirmations, validations, and proper use reviews.
- Maintain 24-hour day connectivity with the Call Center.
- Act as liaison between contract and Federal staff.
- Review and approve all disciplinary actions and make recommendations.
Position Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 5-10 years of progressively responsible dispatching/supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of 24-hour emergency communication centers and public safety functions.
- Experience supervising a staff of 30-50 employees.
Pay
Hiring Range: $75,000 - $85,000.
