Position Details
Title: Virtual/Remote Benefits Customer Service Representative
Location: San Diego, CA (remote, within a 2-hour radius of Mission Valley)
Pay Rate: $18.50/hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday (no weekends), must be available between 6am–6pm with occasional extended hours to 9 pm

A Day in the Life
As a Benefits Customer Service Representative, You Will Provide compassionate, professional assistance to plan participants via phone, email, and instant messaging.
Tailor your communication style to meet the needs of diverse individuals, maintaining professionalism even in challenging interactions.
Safeguard confidential information in accordance with HIPAA and data privacy standards.
Accurately document calls and case notes with attention to detail.
You’ll Be a Great Fit
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
- Previous customer service experience (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to navigate multiple computer windows
- Minimum typing speed of 30 WPM
- Able to work effectively in a virtual environment within the specified location radius
