California Workers Compensation Adjuster – Remote

Responsibilities

• Determine compensability and coverage issues
• Manage a diverse caseload of lost time claims
• Cook up the investigation and litigation process
• Work closely with claimants, attorneys, medical providers, investigators, and insureds
• Gather evidence, evaluate claims, and negotiate fair settlements under management review

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of Workers’ Compensation claims adjusting experience with an insurance carrier
• California SIP certification required
• Experience managing lost time claims from inception through resolution
• Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation statutes, compensability investigations, litigation management, and claim resolution

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Excellent communication, negotiation, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
