Calibration Technician - Texarkana, AR

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and troubleshoot plant instrumentation and electronic equipment
• Evaluate machine operations to identify and implement process improvements
• Work with the Electrical Engineer to establish a systematic calibration schedule for all plant instruments
• Communicate work activity and status regularly
• Provide a career path to an Electronics Technician role through designated training, testing, and acquired experience

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or Workforce Center's Career Readiness Certification (CRC) with a minimum of Silver Certificate level
• At least 18 years of age
• Likely to be placed on the night shift with a 2-2-3 continuous work schedule
• Must be able to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend, and work at heights
• Two years of industrial technical experience or successful completion of an accredited apprenticeship program

Pay and Benefits

• Base Pay: $28.13 per hour, with potential for pay increase to $40.05 with continued education opportunities
• Sign on bonus of $10,000 paid out within 3 years, including $4,000 within 30 days
