Calibration Technician I

  • Education and Experience: Associates degree from college or technical school; or at least one (1) year related experience and/or training. Preferred: Previous experience or training in electronics or machining.
  • Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Qualifications: Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent attention to detail, self-motivated learner, ability to learn new skills, ability to take direction and learn from feedback, ability to communicate well with supervisor, solve problems effectively, and work both independently and as part of a team. 3+ years driving experience with a valid driver’s license and acceptable driver history.
  • Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Learn fundamental calibration skills and techniques, develop skills necessary to perform calibrations independently, fulfill duties safely under working conditions, in keeping with Company requirements and standards, and other duties as assigned.
  • Primary Objectives: Fulfill duties safely under working conditions, in keeping with Company requirements and standards, and other duties as assigned.
  • Travel Requirement: 25-50% of work schedule

Physical Demands

  • Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts
  • Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; and vibration
  • Noisy environment
