This position is for a New Jersey unit of Mettler-Toledo named Troemner, located about 15 miles from Philadelphia in Thorofare, NJ. Mettler-Toledo acquired Troemner in 2016. We provide unmatched measurements and metrological analysis. In addition to weights and calibration services, we also manufacture a full line of laboratory equipment including shakers, hotplates, and vortex mixers.

Responsibilities

• Test, calibrate, and repair all classes, types, and sizes of weights for conformance to established standards using complex methods with exacting tolerances.
• Work from production orders, verbal instructions, and written procedures to inspect, clean, adjust, and calibrate weights to specific class specifications.
• Use precision balances and weight standards to bring individual weights and sets within allowable tolerances.
• Clean, polish, grind, fill, or add materials to adjust weights and sets for calibration.
• Use hand tools and computer programs to arrive at readings for weights and sets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ years related experience with weight calibration.
• Experience with SAP CRM is helpful.
• Knowledge of metrology is a huge plus.
• Ability to work M‑F 7am‑3:30pm in Thorofare, NJ.
