Responsibilities
- Manage the calibration program
- Plan calibration activities per systems timeline
- Review calibration results
- Enter calibration data and records into calibration system
- Issue exception reports as needed
- Maintain calibration data
- Perform in-house calibration per documented instructions
- Issue purchase orders to calibration providers
- Verify calibration services
- Cookinate measurement equipment service calls as needed
- Issue purchase orders for operations inspection equipment such as rules, gage pins, calipers as directed
- Special inspection or related projects as assigned by Quality Engineering Manager
Qualifications
- High school diploma
- 3+ years’ experience in production, tooling, or inspection activities
- Basic understanding of calibration
- Basic understanding of metrology equipment
- Basic understanding of measurement analysis techniques
- Ability to use GageTrak software
- Able to perform limited gage inspections
- Able to work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
- Proficiency at using Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Detailed, accurate, focused
