Calibration Technician

Responsibilities

  • Manage the calibration program
  • Plan calibration activities per systems timeline
  • Review calibration results
  • Enter calibration data and records into calibration system
  • Issue exception reports as needed
  • Maintain calibration data
  • Perform in-house calibration per documented instructions
  • Issue purchase orders to calibration providers
  • Verify calibration services
  • Cookinate measurement equipment service calls as needed
  • Issue purchase orders for operations inspection equipment such as rules, gage pins, calipers as directed
  • Special inspection or related projects as assigned by Quality Engineering Manager

Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • 3+ years’ experience in production, tooling, or inspection activities
  • Basic understanding of calibration
  • Basic understanding of metrology equipment
  • Basic understanding of measurement analysis techniques
  • Ability to use GageTrak software
  • Able to perform limited gage inspections
  • Able to work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others
  • Proficiency at using Microsoft Office applications, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Detailed, accurate, focused
