Responsibilities
- Maintain, complete, and facilitate calibrations of all gauging and measurement equipment utilizing gage tracks software for both Precision Edge facilities.
- Maintain customer-owned gauges.
- May provide backup to QC Final Inspectors when needed.
- Research and acquire new gauging equipment.
- Program and maintain files for advanced metrology equipment (TESA, OGP, Keyence).
- Act as a point of contact during customer and registrar audits regarding calibration.
- Train employees as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Frequent lifting of 50 lbs.
- Standing for extended periods (8-10 hours or more).
- Frequent bending and twisting.
- Correctable vision to 20/20.
- Ability to distinguish color.
- Advanced print reading and GD&T.
- Knowledge of standard inspection measuring and test equipment.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Availability for all shifts.
- Advanced gage knowledge.
- Troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
- Interpretation of the limitations of physical properties.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
- A minimum of 1 (one) year experience in the inspection field using standard inspection equipment and prints to determine conformance to requirements.
Skills
