About the role
Under the direction of the Cage and Credit Manager, this position oversees the safe, secure, and efficient operations of the Cash Cages. Responsibilities include adhering to AML regulations, coordinating with the Cage and Credit Manager, training new hires, and providing exceptional guest service.
Responsibilities
- Adhere to Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program and regulations
- Assume responsibilities and duties in the absence of the Cage and Credit Manager
- Coordinate, direct, and assist in areas of policies, procedures, and job performance
- Approve credit line for guests according to Credit and Collections policies and procedures
- Train new hires in policies, procedures, cash handling, chip handling, check cashing, etc.
- Provide ongoing training in all areas
- Perform functions of Cash Cage staff as required
- Maintain open communication with Cage and Credit Manager and meet regularly with him/her
- Meet on a regular basis with Supervisors and Relief Supervisors to ensure a smooth operation of Cash Cage
- Monitor staff performance, ensuring adherence to casino policies and procedures
- May review cash operations surveillance tapes
- Supervise employees as required
Qualifications
- GAMING EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
- High school diploma or GED, and at least 3 years related experience and/or training in high volume cash operations, including management, business, and/or finance
- Proficient in using the Ten Key Adding Machine
- Professional demeanor and good communication skills
- Communicate in English
Qualification Requirements
- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to stand, move and work throughout the office area and properties, including walking up to 1 mile, climbing stairs and standing at a desk/work station for the duration of the shift
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, but will escalate when located in the casino environment
- Must be able to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry or otherwise move goods weighing a minimum of 25 lbs. on an intermittent basis, and sufficient dexterity of hand in order to use office equipment including, but not limited to: a computer keyboard, calculator, general office equipment and multi-line telephone
