Job Summary

The SHOW Comes Alive At MGM Resorts International seeks enthusiastic candidates to join the dynamic team at MGM Springfield as a Casino Cage Cashier. This role offers exciting opportunities to work in a vibrant and diverse environment, processing transactions and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Frontline entry level transactions
• Chip bank transactions
• Poker transactions
• Cage credit transactions
• Employee bank/window transactions
• Marker/IOU bank transactions
• Poker unit transactions
• High Limit cage transactions
• Service patron Kiosk/TRU units
• Service employee Recycler/JetSafe units
• Cash all types of checks
• Redeem chips/tokens, TITO (ticket in/ticket out), and Race and Sports tickets
• Conduct Marker and Front Money transactions
• Redeem all acceptable types of foreign currencies
• Secure and document all recordable transactions
• Complete electronic multiple transaction logs
• Complete transaction logs manually when necessary
• Aid patrons with general information
• Issue or surrender safety deposit boxes

Requirements

• High-volume cash handling experience in a casino or banking environment
• High school diploma or GED

Pay

Starting Pay: $18.75 per hour

The estimated annual tips for this role could reasonably be anticipated to be between $0 and $2,200. Overtime pay is in accordance with state requirements. Employees are eligible to participate in various benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) plans, and time off plans.
