Cage Cashier - MGM Grand Detroit

About the Role

At MGM Resorts, we seek individuals who can create unique and show‑stopping experiences for our guests. As a Cage Cashier, you will set the stage for the guest experience with a welcoming smile and top‑notch service, understanding each guest’s story and needs to create WOW moments and lasting memories.

Responsibilities

• Engage and acknowledge all guests in a friendly and outgoing manner.
• Efficiently process patrons’ monetary transactions by exchanging cash for table‑games chips and/or redeeming table‑games chips for cash.
• Provide a high level of service when interacting with guests, using problem‑solving, attention to detail, and ensuring guest safety.

Requirements

• Takes pride in their work.
• Performs well under pressure.
• Enjoys helping others and likes to make a good impression.
• Exceptionally skilled in accurately counting, verifying, and handling large volumes of cash.
• More than 1 year of experience in a cash‑handling role.
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including extended hours, weekends, and holidays.

Pay

Starting rate: $19.94 per hour.

Schedule

Flexible schedule that may include extended hours, weekends, and holidays.
