Join our team as a Cage Cashier and play a key role in ensuring accurate cash transactions while adhering to company policies and state regulations.
Responsibilities
- Exchange chips for cash and Slot tickets for cash.
- Perform check cashing and counter check transactions for slot patrons.
- Assist customers in completing check cashing and front money applications.
- Manage chips and cash in assigned window.
- Maintain a neat and well-stocked window (cash, chips, supplies) for the next shift.
- Process transactions accurately and maintain precise reconciliations.
- Avoid front window assignments when working the Chip Bank during the same shift.
- Assist with casino credit applications and perform required verifications per regulations.
- Notify Casino Credit Executive or above of critical credit report information.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls of the State Gaming Agency.
- Promote superior guest service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience in high-volume cash operations.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
- Proficiency in working with financial information, data, and basic arithmetic.
- Must obtain and maintain a valid license as required by the State Gaming Agency for the position.
