Cage Cashier - Casino Cash Operations

Job Responsibilities

• Absorb and comply with all Company policies outlined in the Employee Handbook and local, state, federal, and tribal regulations.
• Participate in and complete all training sessions, safety classes, pre-shift meetings, and/or certifications related to the position.
• Control and account for transactions in the cage windows, main bank, chip bank, and check bank.
• Perform high volume cash and non-cash transactions for guests and internal customers in a courteous and timely manner.
• Accurately enter patron transactions into the company computer system.
• Prepare paperwork, balance sheets, and documents in accordance with Standards and Procedures (S&P's) and internal controls.
• Sign all documents legibly and according to S&P's.
• Transfer cash, chips, and checks between cages and/or departments accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment within the area of responsibility.
• Participate in the daily cage reconciliation process.
• Demonstrate a commitment to responsible gaming and alcohol service by reporting concerns and observations to appropriate managers.
• Promote positive public and team member relations at all times.
• Ensure prompt and discreet notification to managers or the Ethics Hotline of any observed illegal acts or internal ethics violations.

• Ability to present an outgoing personality while maintaining a professional demeanor.
• High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) months of cash handling experience preferred.
• Cage operations experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, specifically for position duties and responsibilities.
• Basic mathematical skills to include ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide as needed for position responsibilities.
