Cage Cashier - Cage Operations
Essential Job Functions
- Enters guest checks in the computer system.
- Applies monies received and makes accurate change.
- Processes credit card payments.
- Batches 'Tip' slip for casino clerks.
- Balances bank at the end of each shift.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous cashiering/money handling experience in making accurate change in a fast-paced environment is preferred.
- A combination of experience and/or education is acceptable.
- Must be able to count large sums of money back to the customer.
Work Environment
- May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to: second hand smoke, excessive noise, and constant interaction with the general public.
- Frequent standing, walking, using hands to finger, handle, or feel, reaching with hands and arms, talking or hearing, tasting or smelling.
- Frequent lifting and/or moving 20 pounds or more.
- Specific vision abilities that may be required include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Closing
As part of Seminole Gaming’s employment process, final candidates will be required to obtain gaming licensure by completing a background check with Seminole Gaming Compliance and Regulations, prior to an offer being extended. These background checks may include, but are not limited to: Credit Check, Criminal Background Check, Drug Screen.
