Cage Cashier - Bossier City

About the role

The Cage Cashier at Live! is pivotal to the seamless operation of the Live! Rewards program. This position involves enrolling, redeeming, and providing services related to Live! Rewards cards, ensuring accurate cash transactions, and assisting guests with various transactions.

Responsibilities

• Relays Live! Rewards card uses and benefits to each guest, and describes current and upcoming promotions.
• Issues Live! Rewards cards to new and existing guests efficiently and accurately.
• Affords assistance in Live! Rewards member redemption transactions.
• Handles exchange of chips for cash and Slot tickets for cash.
• Performs check cashing and counter check transactions for slot patrons.
• Affords assistance in completing check cashing and front money applications.
• Responsible for maintaining a neat and well-stocked window (Cash - Chips - Supplies) for the next shift.
• Ensures accuracy in transaction processing and maintains accurate reconciliations.
• Assists the Casino Credit Clerk or above in processing credit applications.
• Performs required verifications in accordance with regulations for casino credit applications.
• Notifies the Casino Credit Executive and above of any critical information on credit reports.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls of the State Gaming Agency.
• Promotes superior guest service.

Requirements

• Must be able to communicate well with the public.
• Must be able to work with and understand financial information and data, and basic arithmetic functions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience in high volume cash operations.
• Exposure to an alcohol and smoking environment.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by Louisiana Gaming Control Board or any other applicable regulatory entity.
• Physical requirements for 24/7 operation, including extended hours, moving about a large casino, using stairs and elevators.
