Responsibilities
- Talk with guests, make them feel welcome and comfortable, and invite them back.
- Redeem and sell chips to guests.
- Cash guests out, provide correct change, and answer guest questions courteously and professionally.
- Use all related equipment and cash handling systems appropriately.
- Keep cash drawer balanced and imprest, make exchanges with the vault, and verify and document personal identification information for appropriate transactions.
- Maintain monetary and paperwork accuracy and efficiency within department/property standards.
- Track and complete all government reporting.
- Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding these limitations.
- Keep work area clean and orderly.
- Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and Company policies in an ethical manner and encourage others to do the same.
- Handle routine guest complaints and incidents with discretion, identifying situations requiring supervisory attention and seeking to resolve all situations in a manner that maintains positive guest relationships.
- Work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.
- Perform other duties as assigned or reasonably requested by any member of management.
