Cafeteria Worker/Cashier

We are looking for a dedicated, energetic Cafeteria Worker/Cashier to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. You will operate the point of sale system, ensuring accurate processing of student meals and payments. You will also help with meal preparation and serving the food as needed.

Schedule

This position offers a steady shift of 5 hours per day, Monday through Friday.

Pay

Starting Rate: $14.06/hr. The offered rate will be based on experience and internal equity.

Requirements

• Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
• Experience: One year of experience in food service operations is preferred, with an understanding of nutrition, sanitation, and food safety.
• Technical Skills: Basic computer skills, including the ability to operate a computer and use email for communication.
• Attributes: A cooperative, congenial, and service-oriented temperament.
• Clearances: Employment is contingent upon providing current Act 34, Act 114, Act 151, and Act 168 forms prior to your start date.
