Cafeteria Manager

Essential Functions

• Counsels cafeteria workers on proper food preparation techniques.
• Ensures all food and supplies meet health and safety standards.
• Monitors and adjusts food service operations to meet nutritional and health requirements.
• Manages inventory to ensure sufficient supplies for operations.
• Trains and supervises cafeteria workers and other personnel.
• Processes meal applications and reconciles transactions.
• Responds to inquiries from students, staff, and the public.
• Schedules work hours and assigns tasks for cafeteria employees.

Experience

• Job-related experience with increasing levels of responsibility required.

Education

• Community college and/or vocational school degree in a job-related field preferred.
• High School Diploma or equivalent with at least five years of satisfactory job-related experience.

Certificates and Licenses

• Food Handlers/Serv Safe Certificate.

Clearances

• Criminal Justice Fingerprint/Background Clearance.
• IVP (Identity Verified Print) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
