About the Role

The Café Worker reports to the Chef Manager and is responsible for assisting with front of the house operations including serving and assisting customers during the check-out process, light food prep (grab-and-go items and salad bar prep/maintenance), stocking coolers, and maintaining clean and orderly server/dining areas. This position also involves team-based duties such as washing dishes, trash removal, and other utility tasks. Exceptional customer service skills and a can-do attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Run the point-of-sale system and assist customers as needed
• Set up and restock product, displays, coolers, and workstations
• Perform light food prep, including baking cookies, preparing salad bar, and grab-and-go items
• Wash, peel, and cut fruits and vegetables for the salad bar
• Prepare and replenish the salad bar
• Transfer supplies or equipment between storage and work areas
• Wash dishes, pots, and pans (by hand or using dishwashers) and handle trash removal
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of the café at all times
• Provide excellent customer service, including greeting and thanking customers
• Work collaboratively with the team under the direction of the Chef Manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous food/customer service experience, preferably in a corporate dining setting
• Dependable with strong customer service skills
• Able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

$20.00 per hour, paid weekly via direct deposit.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
