Cafe Sales Associate Retail/Host

About the role

The Retail Sales Associate (RSA) plays a crucial role in guiding guests through their shopping experience at Hard Rock stores. This position requires a unique individual who can serve as a tour guide, communicator, entertainer, memorabilia curator, and musician.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and answer questions accurately and politely.
• Answer the phone and make proficient sales transactions using a point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash and other forms of payment, maintaining proper cash drawer balances.
• Direct guests to areas, restrooms, and provide product demonstrations.
• Demonstrate impeccable product knowledge and determine guests' needs through active engagement and informed conversations about product features and benefits.
• Suggestive sell products using proven techniques such as related items, higher-quality items, and transitional phrases.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, ensuring proper product stock levels through retail pulls and inventories.
• Display retail products according to HRC's visual display standards.
• Perform opening, closing, and side duties such as cleaning glass, polishing brass, sweeping, vacuuming the floor, folding product, etc.
• Affirm the complete satisfaction of each guest and create memorable experiences.
• Entertain guests to foster "Raving Fan" relationships.

Requirements

Hard Rock International seeks candidates who are passionate about music and customer service. Applicants must have excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to multitask effectively. Previous retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a strong understanding of retail operations and customer service principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is beneficial.

Pay

HRI offers an hourly wage range of $18.00 to $22.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Shifts are typically 8 hours long, Monday through Saturday, with varying start times. Overtime may be available based on business needs.
