About the Role

This position works out of our Columbus, OH location within the CHR Corporate Human Resources division. This is a food service role involving varied tasks including preparing food for all stations, specials, and other food stations. Responsibilities include sanitation, food safety, assisting with food production, catering, and designated projects and events.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of quality and integrity of food, ensuring customer confidence and providing outstanding customer service.
• Train for the ability to fill in at many of the café stations.
• Run POS transactions for dinner services and late-night services while maintaining stock of various front-of-house items.
• Operate POS system and correctly count cash transactions.
• Maintain stock of front-of-house items.
• Prep and fill Deli and Salad Bar stations as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong customer service skills, customer service experience, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prepare quality food in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow directions and understand and follow a recipe.
• Prior kitchen experience of 2-3 years; high-volume experience would be helpful.
• Quick learning agility with the ability to be flexible and handle several tasks at once or work at multiple stations.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to operate POS system and correctly count cash transactions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Two-year degree or some college credits.
• ServSafe Food Protection or similar food safety training program.

Pay

The base pay for this position is $14.55 – $29.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm.
