About the role

Mozz is an upscale cheesemaking facility, eatery, pizzeria al taglio, cafe and market that opened in Newport, June of 2022. We are looking for passionate individuals to join our team who share our excitement about all things food and specialities.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in our open kitchen design
• Be present and willing to learn
• Work in a professionally run kitchen with a passionate culinary team
• Have the opportunity to learn and master a wide range of techniques
• Work consistent hours, flexible scheduling, and competitive hourly rates based on experience

Requirements

• No experience necessary. We are willing to train the right person
• Flexible and able to work days, nights, weekends and some holidays, as needed
• Year round availability preferred
• Ability to learn and follow recipes
• Ability to learn and prep for the day
• Ability to execute service
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable in an open concept kitchen where there is guest interaction
• Fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
• Follow directions and procedures, effective time management and organization skills
• Strong to excellent communication skills and willingness to work as part of a team
