About the role

The Bistro Associate collaborates with the Bistro Manager and Concierge to provide exceptional culinary experiences and ensure patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Aid in the planning, development, organization, implementation, and evaluation of the Bistro's programs and activities.
• Cook and serve meals in accordance with the EPIC food and beverage service program, prioritizing customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments for food-related activities.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service through interactions with residents, families, and visitors, fostering a positive healing environment.

Requirements

• ServSafe and Allergen Trained
• Starbucks Barista Trained
• Knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations, and guidelines applicable to nursing care facilities and food service establishments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a food service setting preferred.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay

$17.00 per hour, plus Hero Pay ($0.85 per hour), with yearly wage increases.

Schedule

Full-time position with all shifts including rotating weekends and some holidays.
