Cafe Associate-Full Time

Responsibilities
- Prepare all fudge products and sell to customers
- Perform all Ginna’s restaurant functions, including deli line, barista, grill, ice cream, baked goods, fudge, and other duties as assigned
- Mentor and train new associates using kitchen tools, mentor checklists, and Standard Operating Guidelines
- Avoid food safety violations by following State and Local Ordinances
- Ensure all products are received and stored according to Standard Operating Guidelines
- Support side work, daily and detail cleaning schedules, and opening/closing procedures
- Maintain an orderly and clean workspace
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and treat others with respect
- Adapt to a changing work environment and apply learned concepts
- Follow Scheels’ policies and procedures

- Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent, up to one month related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Physical Requirements: Medium work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10-25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Qualifications
- Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers and employees of the organization
- Ability to prepare many different types of food, drinks, and ingredients
