About the role

This position encompasses five core focus areas — Team Member, Expert, Techie, Owner, and Talent Ambassador — along with general compliance and work‑completion expectations. Each area blends hands‑on food preparation, digital‑tool proficiency, merchandising ownership, and people development.

Responsibilities

Be a Team Member

• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications for prepared food merchandise.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources.
• Communicate effectively with team members.
• Remain flexible to business needs, including working in other areas as required.

Be an Expert

• Prepare food according to item specifications.
• Understand and plan future and mass production runs; prepare for seasonality.
• Adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold‑chain compliance, and inventory management.
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment.
• Demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution.

Be a Techie

• Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement.
• Use handheld technology for immediate business decisions related to production, ordering merchandise, receiving club pick‑up orders, training, and product quality.
• Adapt to new tools and encourage others to adopt them.

Be an Owner

• Drive area performance through stocking and rotating merchandise.
• Ensure quality and date‑control standards; eliminate waste.
• Provide member service: acknowledge members, identify needs, assist with purchasing decisions, payment types, locating merchandise, and resolve issues and concerns.

Be a Talent Ambassador

• Act as a brand advocate; develop, influence, and inspire others in a respectful, supportive, team‑oriented style.
• Understand roadblocks and assist in training.

Compliance & Work Execution

• Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; implement related action plans; use the Open Door Policy.
• Complete work assignments and priorities using policies, data, and resources; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and business partners.
• Identify priorities, deadlines, and expectations; carry out tasks; communicate progress and information.
• Determine and recommend ways to address improvement opportunities; adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Acknowledge that the position requires successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period if hired.

Preferred Qualifications

• Food Safety Certification.
• Food Service Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).

Pay

• Hourly wage range: $17.00 – $25.00 (actual rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage for the job location).
• Additional premiums may apply: $0.35 – $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if criteria are met.
