About the role

The Francis Howell School District (FHSD) is dedicated to creating a safe and positive environment for students. We seek professionals to help maintain this atmosphere in our school cafeterias.

Key Responsibilities

• Aid students with tasks such as opening packages and locating food lines.
• Assist in evacuations and ensure student safety during emergencies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly cafeteria, reminding students of proper behavior.
• Serve as a supervisor, monitoring students to ensure a safe and positive environment.
• Promote good social behavior among students.
• Provide information and direction as needed.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Some job-related experience is desired.

Skills

• Adherence to safety practices.
• Basic communication and record-keeping.
• Operation of standard equipment.

Knowledge

• Basic math.
• Child development stages.
• Relevant policies and regulations.

Salary: $16.41
