CAD Technician

Job Details / Responsibilities

Draft preliminary and final drawings, maps, and technical documents under the supervision of Professional Land Surveyors or Engineers

Create and modify detailed CAD models for surveying, construction staking, topographic, boundary, and related projects

Support data processing from field surveys, LiDAR, and other geospatial sources into accurate deliverables

Ensure drawings adhere to company standards, engineering practices, and regulatory requirements

Collaborate with project teams to refine designs and resolve technical issues

Maintain organized project files and contribute to efficient workflow processes

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in CAD drafting, preferably in surveying, civil engineering, or construction
• Proficiency with AutoCAD (Civil 3D preferred) and other drafting applications
• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in CAD Drafting or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate technical drawings
• Ability to work full-time onsite in a collaborative office setting
