CAD Specialist

Brief Description Position: CAD Specialist Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt Location: 5705 E 71st St STE 220, Tulsa, OK Hours: Monday-Friday 8am to 5pm General Purpose: To draft and edit construction documents using CAD software. Assist customers in customizing home plans. Supervision Exercised: None Essential Duties And Responsibilities Draw building plans for custom home builder.Read and interpret architectural drawings.Conduct pre-construction meetings with customers.To create detailed construction documents.To assist in creating new standards and procedures.To provide quality control to customers and departments.Prepare clear, concise and accurate conceptual and/or design layouts, drawings, and models that define tolerances, fits, clearance, and space requirements, including graphical presentations as required.Occasionally compose documents/letters and any other clerical dutiesMaintain confidentiality of drawingsPresent recommendations to ManagerAssists in other duties as directedRemain current on all architectural industry standards, rules, and codes.All other duties as assigned Requirements Minimum Qualifications: Two years of college (60 credit hours)6+ months of work related CAD experience Knowledge, Skills, And Ability Knowledge of genera office practicesKnowledge of CAD/DraftingGood Attendance and Punctuality is mandatoryKnowledge of basic Architecture principlesAbility to establish prioritiesAbility to perform basic mathAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independentlyAbility to communicate professionallyGood time management skillsDemonstrate attention to detail and patienceStrong organizational skillsWillingness to be a member of a dedicated team Work Environment Office environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Physical Demands Occasionally required to sit and use their fingers, to handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel. Must be able to carry equipment up to 30 lbs.
