CAD/Revit Technician
About the role
The CAD/Revit Technician will primarily utilize REVIT and occasionally AutoCAD to set up and update project models and backgrounds, document existing conditions using REVIT, and assist in troubleshooting REVIT issues. In this role, you will set up models and update as architectural models are shared. Work in conjunction with supervising Engineers to draft MEP system layouts, schedules, and details for a variety of projects. Coordinate building systems with internal/external Technicians/Designers/Engineers.

Requirements
- Experience in an A/E/C environment designing Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems (MEP), a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of drafting techniques.
- MEP engineering terminology, a plus but not required.
- Efficient and accurate drafting with adherence to BIM standards.
- High level of proficiency in REVIT design software with some CAD knowledge.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
- Electronic Project File Management experience.
- Excellent time management and an extremely high level of attention to detail.
Skills
- Self-starter that requires little direction to get moving on a project.
- Strong problem-solving skills, especially in troubleshooting REVIT models and system conflicts.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, designers, and project teams.
- Knowledge of BIM coordination processes and clash detection principles.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to model accuracy and file standards.
- Proficiency in quality control and model auditing to ensure deliverable accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and grow technical skills in REVIT, AutoCAD, and related software.
