Key Responsibilities
- Perform engineering work related to configuring, deploying, maintaining, and upgrading CAD models.
- Create and test prototypes, and oversee other CAD positions, production processes, computer-controlled (CNC) machines, and three-dimensional digitizer equipment.
- Design, develop, and engineer high-quality models using 3D and 2D CAD tools.
- Produce designs that meet feasibility, performance, costs, quality, safety, legislation, and timing targets.
- Ensure that all work is carried out in compliance with company design, safety, quality, environmental compliance, and procedural standards.
- Update and maintain product design files.
- Aid in improving daily processes to ensure that the CAD systems meet customer requirements.
- Determine limitations, assumptions, and solutions in the design and development of CAD models.
- Determine design specifications and parameters for CAD models.
- Aid and provide advice in the development of new products.
- Bring concept illustrations and clay models to real-scale digital data.
- Analyze 3D models for functionality and compatibility with desired specifications.
- Create visual renderings and technical drawings to be reviewed.
- Create specification drawings for prototyping and manufacturing of new products.
- Create full-size working static prototype models of the design concept for Production engineer/cost analysis.
- Create digital patterns, templates, and/or temporary tooling to aid new hull development.

Requirements
- BS degree in Engineering or relevant field.
- 5 to 8 years of experience with computer-aided design and drafting software.
- Experience with CAD software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar.
- 5 to 8 years of experience in three-dimensional digital design.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods.
- Experience with free-form 3D modeling.
- Experience in computer-aided manufacturing software and CNC routing.
- Experience with recreational skiing, slalom, and wakeboarding.
- Demonstrated proficiency in 3D CAD Modeling experience, preferably SolidWorks and NX.
