About the role
Help train and evaluate AI agents that work inside a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks, work that would take an expert 10-15 hours. You'll design part geometry, build reference solutions, and judge the agent's attempts. You'll work alongside CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
Responsibilities
- Train and evaluate AI agents in a real CAD environment on long engineering tasks.
- Design part geometry and build reference solutions.
- Judge the agent's attempts.
- Collaborate with CFD engineers who simulate the geometry you build.
Requirements
- A degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related field (Master's or PhD a plus).
- 5+ years of professional, hands‑on CAD modelling (CATIA, SolidWorks, Siemens NX, Creo or similar).
- Experience preparing geometry for simulation (ANSYS or similar) is a strong plus.
- An active professional CAD licence of your own (required).
- Comfortable with Python and GitHub.
- English at B2 level or above.
Pay
On this project, contributors can earn up to $69 per hour equivalent, depending on their level and pace of contribution. Compensation varies across projects depending on scope, complexity, and required expertise.
Schedule
For this project, tasks are estimated to require around 10‑20 hours per week during active phases, based on project requirements. This is an estimate, not a guaranteed workload, and applies only while the project is active.
Benefits
- Work fully remote on your own schedule with just a laptop and stable internet connection.
