CAD Drafter

About the role

We are a small, tight-knit company with a long history of high quality in Railroad Signal Design and Drafting. We are seeking a CAD drafter who is motivated to learn on the job. The primary responsibility is completing As-Built plans for railroad signaling projects, with room for growth for those motivated to learn.

We work in AutoCAD LT for Mac.

Responsibilities

• Complete As-Built plans for railroad signaling projects
• Work efficiently and independently on redundant drawing modifications on an ongoing basis

Requirements

• Some school or work-related AutoCAD drafting experience
• Demonstrate ability to work efficiently and independently

Qualifications

• Familiarity with AutoCAD LT program
• School or work experience with electronics or electrical circuits
• Any Railroad Signal experience
• Knowledge of Apple computers or Mac operating systems
• Knowledge of Filemaker/Claris program (a bonus)
• Interest in learning railroad signaling and growing into a designer
• Self-motivated to learn on the job
