Job Summary

Our client is seeking a CAD Drafter in Kansas City, Missouri for a permanent, direct‑hire role with a leader in steel building solutions. The position offers exceptional growth in an environment that invests in its team. Candidates need an Associate degree in CAD or a technical discipline and 2‑3 years of experience to interpret blueprints and perform structural calculations.

Responsibilities

• Create steel erection, approval, permit, and anchor‑rod drawings in accordance with project specifications.
• Detail building parts and produce fabrication drawings from engineering designs and project notes.
• Perform mathematical calculations using algebra and trigonometry to ensure accurate project detailing.
• Edit and upload component data into the manufacturing system for release to production.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional project teams to resolve technical challenges and maintain schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience (experienced level).
• Associate degree (required) in CAD, engineering, or a related technical field.

Pay

$68,000 – $70,000 per year
