CAD Civil 3D Designer

About the role

Hazen and Sawyer is seeking a CAD/BIM Designer to join our team. This position will be responsible for designing and producing contract documents for various water and wastewater facilities projects.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plan and profile design drawings for both pressure and gravity pipe networks
• Prepare site layouts, enlarged plans, sections, and details for various process mechanical and systems and civil site layouts
• Execute civil/site design elements including site layouts, grading, paving, yard piping, roadways, and stormwater systems
• Execute redlines from Engineers and senior CAD Designers
• Affirm drawing compliance with company and client CAD standards

Requirements

• Ability to prepare plan and profile design drawings for both pressure and gravity pipe networks
• Ability to prepare site layouts, enlarged plans, sections, and details for various process mechanical and systems and civil site layouts
• Help execute civil/site design elements including site layouts, grading, paving, yard piping, roadways, and stormwater systems
• Ambition to learn, communicate effectively, and collaborate with other designers

Qualifications

• CAD drafting design or completion of technical school with CAD design certificate
• AutoCAD 2D skills
• Autodesk Revit experience/skills
• Autodesk Civil 3D experience/skills (highly desired)
