CAD - BIM Layout Specialist

What You'll Be Doing

• Own the production of layout drawings, equipment lists, prototype layouts, and design outputs ensuring accuracy and adherence to Meijer CAD/BIM standards.
• Identify, document, and communicate design conflicts to Layout Designers, contributing to solution development and refinement.
• Maintain and apply CAD/BIM standards, templates, and file organization ensuring consistency across projects.
• Prepare layout drawings and equipment lists with to support design development.
• Cook up coordination with Procurement, fixture librarian, and A/E partners to ensure accurate integration of fixture, equipment, and design requirements.
• Conduct technical reviews of drawings produced by internal or external partners, ensuring accuracy and adherence to Meijer CAD/BIM standards.
• Adhere to a schedule driven workload and meet deadlines

What You Bring With You (Qualifications)

• Bachelors degree or equivalent design and drafting experience
• 2-5 years of experience in CAD/BIM including Revit
• Proficient CAD/BIM drafting/modeling skills
• Working knowledge of CAD drawing file structures, standards, cell/family placement, and project modeling
• Good analytical skills and ability to work in a schedule driven environment
• Understanding of applicable building codes

Pay & Benefits

Competitive pay that reflects market standards and ensures consistency within our organization. The pay range for this position is $55,750.00 - $88,250.00.
