CAD Administrator

About the role
We are seeking a CAD Administrator to join our team in one of our office locations: Houston, Port Arthur, Lafayette, Baton Rouge, or Metairie. This is a full-time, office-based position with occasional travel requirements. The role is primarily sedentary.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical CAD support to users, resolving software and hardware issues for various versions of Autodesk and third-party CAD software.
- Install and maintain multiple CAD software and versions.
- Assist with routine maintenance of CAD workstations, including software patches and updates.
- Generate specifications using CADWorx and Autodesk Plant 3D.
Requirements
- Experience supporting CAD products.
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.
- Knowledge of Windows Active Directory concepts, networking, and hardware.
- Strong working knowledge of CADWorx, Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk Advance Steel, Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Forma (ACC, BIM 360), Autodesk Recap, and laser scans.
- Advanced motivation, organization, and solution advocacy.
- Attention to detail.
- Must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Qualifications
- Preferred: 4+ years of CAD support experience.
- Preferred software proficiency: CADWorx, Autodesk Plant 3D, Autodesk Advance Steel, Autodesk Civil 3D, Autodesk Forma (ACC, BIM 360), Autodesk Recap, LFM, Windows 10/11.
