Cable Technician
We are seeking a Cable Technician to assist with installing and supporting structured cabling systems. This role involves running, dressing, labeling, testing, and terminating copper and fiber cabling while helping build out network infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install and route Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
- Install cable trays and pathways
- Dress, label, and organize cables
- Terminate and test copper and fiber connections
- Assist with rack and stack of network equipment
- Read basic drawings and installation plans
- Troubleshoot cabling issues as needed
- Maintain an organized and safe work area
Requirements
- 1+ year of cabling or structured cabling experience
- Experience with Cat5, Cat6, and fiber optic cabling
- Knowledge of cable termination, testing, and labeling
- Familiarity with patch panels, punch-downs, and cable trays
- Ability to use basic hand tools and testing equipment
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a Contract position based out of Offutt Air Force Base, NE. The position is fully onsite.
