Cable Technician 1
About the role
Looking for individuals that can work inside and outside building out the data centers. Shift is Monday- Friday 6am-5pm.
Responsibilities
- Network equipment experience
- Cat6 termination
- Fiber knowledge
- Layout and install wireway, buss duct, cable tray, switches, receptacles and other devices
- Build closets (Mount and install backboards, cross connects, racks, patch panels, fiber optic and hardware)
- Install grounding for racks, equipment and cable as required
- Complete all IDC connections (e.g. terminate 110/66 blocks and patch panels)
- Pull wire and/or oversee and direct conduit installations and wire pulling
- Operate tools/equipment, normally requiring the use of two hands (examples: cable cutters, hammer drills, compression tools, jack hammers, etc.)

- Must have proven skill level to interpret blueprints and other project documents, including but not limited to, specifications, reporting and quality requirements
- Must know the universal communications color codes

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Social Circle, GA.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
